Camp Time

Sarah left for camp this morning. Four days and three nights away!

There she goes!

On the bus.

For most kids, going away on school camp is an exciting time. For Sarah, there's also been a bit nervousness thrown in there. You see, she's not the type of kid who enjoys sleeping away from home (except at her grandparents' houses). So this camp will be a big step for her. A bit of a separation hurdle to overcome.

But I'm sure she'll come back happy, more self-assured and overflowing with great camp stories about all the fun they had on the island!

They'll probably keep them so busy kayaking, abseiling, fishing, swimming, sailing, tramping and generally having a good 'ol time, that she won't have any time to be homesick.

*fingers crossed*

  1. She is top of my prayer list this week. Be brave, too, Mum!

  2. So how did it go Bx??

  3. She loved it! And came back exhausted, but with a big smile on her face. xx
