OMG Omaha

A couple of weekends ago, we went up to a beautiful place called Omaha. It takes about an hour to get there directly, but we stopped off at one of our favourite farmer's markets (in Matakana), on our way up.

We met our hosts at the market, and after ambling around nibbling on a few of the delicious goodies for sale there, we continued our journey together, up north to their beach house. We met these lovely new friends at the children's school.

Enjoying the good life.

Omaha beach (behind me) is beautiful.

they'd been towed behind the boat.

Cruising to a little beach for a swim.

Smiley face.

We had a wonderful weekend away - enjoying walks along the beach paths, water skiing, being towed on the biscuit, swimming in the pool and the sea, playing golf, boogy boarding, supping and cruising to a tucked away beach for a refreshing swim in the clear water. We even got to see some flying fish while we were lying on that secluded beach in the hot sun.

And we drove home sunkissed and pleasantly tired after a fun weekend away with friends.

After a busy weekend away, it was very difficult to keep
their eyes open during the car trip home.
